Came here to celebrate a joint birthday and it was perfect. Beautiful restaurant with incredible interior and great views. Very tasty food and a huge menu with something for everyone. Great if you have fussy eaters in the family. This place is an asset to Bedford and we look forward to bringing our visiting guests here again. The staff were also very friendly and there when we needed them. Can’t fault it at all.
Lovely place for afternoon tea. Great atmosphere and comfy chairs. All the young waitresses were very polite and friendly. Couldn’t ask for better and not as expensive as many places. Hi
Oh my what a lovely place The staff Evie & Stacy were fantastic also very lovely ladies Myself and my partner were celebrating our Anniversary and they made us feel so cared about Evie even said if there was anything we can do to make your anniversary feel special was lovely 10/10 We both had haddock and chips with peas,crispy capers absolutely delicious
We had Emily as our waitress, she was lovely, friendly and chatty and was genuinely interested anything we had to say. It is rare nowadays to finds genuine people working in hospitality, she made out bottomless brunch more enjoyable
Stayed In the Swan hotel and popped down for dinner. Usually walk out to Miller and Carter but thought I'd try here for a steak and I was so pleased I did. Far superior. Second night I had the squid starter and Beef pie...wow. really worth a visit
a slight misunderstanding at the beginning, I didn’t realise you waited to be seated, staff were courteous and professional. The food is excellent, the ice cream is divine (not exaggerating) an overall lovely experience. I recommend coming here, for social occasions or just for a treat. Be mindful that It has mid range to high prices depending on what you order; (totally worth every penny though) the restaurant directly looks over the river, even on a colder day it’s wonderful to look at. Booked a table here for our anniversary. Love that you can park for free. Just make sure you register your vehicle at reception. We ordered the vegetarian sharing platter, which was lovely, could have done with less cheese and more pitta, haha. For mains, we ordered the veggie burger and the chicken with vegetables and cajun wedges. Both were delicious! After reading some of the negative reviews, I was apprehensive, but the service was good, even when a large party sat near us. We were served by Jeanette and Lexie, and they were lovely. Would return.
